The rain shadow created by the Matsana mountains, which makes most of Miatias arid, is what makes the Matsana Jungle so lush as it receives the bulk of the rainfall from the ocean.

Habapi Ruins

Deep in the Matsana Jungle, one may start finding weathered and moss-covered stone structures. There was once a small city here, but the jungle has largely reclaimed it over the course of several centuries. Smaller ruins dot other locations in the jungle, but this is the largest by far.

Matsana Falls & Springs

Stumbling upon this location takes ones breath away. A natural staircase of quiet falls combines to make a soft roar of water as one approaches, with the final falls emptying into luminous blue pools. The bioluminescent algae here make the pools glow at night, casting a beautiful bluegreen light beneath the jungle canopy. Delicate flowering mosses coat many surfaces around these springs.

Corrupted Crystal

It’s best to turn around if one starts noticing the vegetation dying off and the land becoming gray and desolate. These are signs that one is approaching the corrupted crystal. No one knows if the crystal itself is still dangerous, but the corrupted dragon laying in wait at its base surely is. The crystal itself is translucent with veins of smoke-like blue inside. This cursed location is avoided by all creatures.
