Schad is a small village at the foot of the Buckh Mountains. Surrounded by trees (primarily spruce) this village is a beautiful place. The fertile ground is good for farming, short as the season is. This village is known for its cultivation of the arts and is highly successful in mining both metals and crystals. There are few beps comfortable with being belowground, but those who brave it are paid handsomely to help haul the findings. Many buildings here are made of stone or brick, and some incorporate the crystals found in the mines.
