Beast Trials: Shadow Portals

Your Aitielkh is enjoying the spring weather as Noé and Lord Wiikset appear before them.

Noé, the patient aitielkh, starts the conversation.
"Hello, may the Goddess be with you, Lord Wiikset has brought to my attention a matter that needs to be seen to. While it's sensetts were surveying the elkh shrines, they discovered that the shadow portals are no longer working-"

Wiikset excitedly cuts off Noé "THE PORTALS ARE DOWN!! I could see with my magic and my magic eyes that they haven't been used in at least a hundred years! HOW HAVE YOU ALL BEEN GETTING AROUND? They gotta be powered with shadow magic, that's Afra's wheelhouse for sure, but if you can't even find the darn things how are you gonna power them, huh?"

"AH-HEM, yes you've heard, it seems like our generation of elkh have forgotten and... misplaced, the shadow sigils. These are magical carvings in the ground that, when imbued with the power of shadow step, can send an elkh to another portal, anywhere on the planet. However after many seasons of disuse, they need a little... attention."

Wiikset butts in again, "YOU CAN'T EVEN FIND THEM NOW, they're all covered by the forest floor and overgrown, but you know I can see them, any beast with earthsense magic can, because you can see the history of the place you see, and when you can see the past, it's easy to see it in the future too! You see! Really now, how do you expect me to get to Miatias when y'all haven't been keeping these portals in use, huh?"

Noé, looking ever so slightly ragged, cuts in, "As Lord Wiikset is kindly explaining, If we work together, one elkh can use earthsense to find the sigils, they are always in the proximity of an elkh shrine, and then another elkh can tidy up the sigil, be it with whatever magic you have, and finally an elkh with shadowstep can then reactivate the portal with a burst of magic. Once we have all the portals working again, travel will be much more efficient."

Lord Wiiket winds it's long body around Noé to get in front yet again, "You can borrow one of my sensetts if you still don't have the hang of Earthsense yet, though really, what are you waiting for? Anyway, it looks like it's time for some spring cleaning!"

BEAST Boxes

The reward for participating in this event is a beast box! The level of box you recieve for a prompt correlates directly to the magic your aitielkh used in said prompt. Beast boxes are gacha boxes with a chance of winning any one of the items inside of them. Chances are listed below.

Beast boxes include beast tokens as well! The amount you get corresponds to the level of beast box (lv 1 gets 1 token and so forth; habapi beast boxes always have two tokens). The beast token shop is open and will remain open April 1st through May 15th; you will be able to use your tokens to purchase the prizes unique to this event.

Apprenticeship PRompts Return!

Due to their popularity, the beast apprentincship prompt has returned! Only while the Beast Trial is going you can supercharge your Aitielkh to Magic Mastery of any magic you choose! Remember, the prompt requirements are slightly different than usual, However, if you complete the prompt as described, you will receive magic mastery with one prompt instead of doing the usual three. Magic crystals cannot be used for this prompt.

Bepotelkh Lore of the Month

Spring in Silkkassa varies depending on location. In the North, warmer days lead to snowmelt, but there’s no guarantee there won’t be an April snowstorm.. The rest of silkkassa tends to be rainy in April. Miatias tends to be more dry and sunny, but experiences strong winds in the valley. In April, there are already plenty of flowers blooming on cacti and other plants.
