2022 giving gala!

Today is the day! The 2022 Autumnfound Giving Gala has begun! During this event players are placed onto teams (team Pumpkin Pie- led by Ket, and team Tricky Treat- led by Leonja) and "attack" one another with gift art to earn acorns, which can be spent in our Autumnfound Event Shop.

From TODAY November 1st  to November 30th You will be able to upload gift art to your team's Giving Gala gallery. All submissions MUST be uploaded to the correct gallery to be counted for points for your team. Each acorn = 1 point. 

There is no "friendly fire" in this event, you are welcome to make regular gift art and send it in via claims to receive gildes!

Acorns/points will be awarded STANDARD GIFT ART CURRENCY, you can see examples on scoring here.  Some bonuses have been removed/altered to streamline the event.

ART REQUIREMENTS

All gift art must be clean and colored to award acorns. Please be considerate and put care into your work.

• A bust with foreground or background elements earns 3 acorns.
  • Examples of foreground or background elements include: a frame, floral background, stars, etc.
  • Busts MUST include this feature, floating heads will not be counted.
• A clean, colored fullbody (75%+ of the body) earns 6 acorns.

• Simple backgrounds earn 2 acorns.
• Complex backgrounds earn 4 acorns.

other Bonuses

Please check the character's profile and inventory to make sure they own said companions/accessories.

• Companions owned by elkh featured earn 2 acorns each. Bonus applies to a maximum of four companions.
• Simple Official Accessories owned by the elkh earn 1 acorns each.
• Complex Official Accessories owned by the elkh earn 2 acorns each.

Additional Characters

Additional characters must either be 1) Owned by the same owner OR 2) Characters that have already estatblished canon relationships AND both owners are on the same team.  It is recommended that you stick with only drawing one character or stick to drawing one owner's characters together.

You may not add your own character into the gift art. Any art that breaks these rules will be disqualified as the mods will not be able to award points accurately.

• Minor additional elkh, shroomkins, or Silkkassan (49% or less of the body) earn 1 acorns each.
• Major additional elkh, shroomkins, or Silkkassans (50% or more of the body) earn 2 acorns each.

Gallery and submissionsThe Pumpkin Pie and Tricky Treat  art galleries will open Today. You MUST upload your gift art to your team's folder. This is so the mods can tally up the points at the end of the event. To receive your acorns you will have to submit your art via the GIVING GALA prompt.
You may submit multiple gift arts for multiple people as a compilation in one gallery picture but only if you have given the recipiant a copy of their individual art elsewhere.

Autumn Beast Trials Wrap-up

Furcifer has been subdued and healed successfully, and is no longer a troublesome presence in the canyon. His fuzzy familiars seem to be relieved and very tired. One question remains in everyones mind: who or what is causing the corruption of Aiti's desciples?
